Generally the house is a modern home that has been designed incorporating an interpretation of a lateral chimneyed Welsh farmhouse.  The house is of two storeys with a basement/integral garage below.  Total floor space is around 300m²

The house is built into quite a steep slope, the bulk of the house being minimised by building into the slope as possible.

A major consideration during the design process was to include appropriate newer features, reclaimed materials and locally sourced materials to limited the impact of both the build and future running of the house.
