Plastering does go on with a house this size.... just as the money does keep flowing out
of my account!
Steve and Rich have been bashing through the work - loft and top floor 99% completed - one slight incident - not enough screws on one piece of plasterboard so that will be replaced next week. This
week saw some of th emost horrible bits of plastering done and everyone is glad to be the right side of them now. Small confined areas and damned big walls form apex of the roof to the bottom of the ground floor -
again very glad I wasn't doing it myself.
Around this was yet more prep work in the basement, the back door area and the utility room. We have one room in the basement fully boarded out and ready to be skimmed.
The
biggest change was at the end of the week when a 20t digger arrived and Jason started pulling the 165m by 1.8m deep by 1m wide trench for the heat pump coils. 8 hours later and the whole thing is almost complete
and boy does it look big! Next week we have to get the pipe in without holes....
