Click on the images below to see a larger version. 4th to 10th October 2004 This week started with finishing off the hipped roof above the hallway, this was then inspected (with the
rest of the progress) by the BCO and NHBC with no major changes needed. So, at long last, we started felting. Parts are quick but the guage on the slates means there are loads of battens to go in. Still
the roof is now dry in sections and there is some hope the rest will be done soon. Now I need to sort out fascia, gutters, bargeboards and so on and then on to the insulation boxes around the house before the
windows can go in....can't see that being done much before December.. |
