More felting and at last we completed that task - albeit that not all of the battens have been done.  We're using counterbattens running up the rafters so these hold the felt on without the tiling battens being in place.  The next section to sort was the flat roof and we cracked on with that...... until ... the chap from the company who will install the stainless steel covering on the roof came around and noted that they needed at least 75mm upstand around the roof to make a good seal - we had 30mm in places.  So on the phone order some more timber and ply and just leave the 8 sheets we'd nail gunned down in place and build on top!!  The other interesting point is that will leave the flat roof VERY close to the ridge - could this be next week's problem??

Along side to the fun and moisture of the roof the stone work continues to climb!
