8th to 14th August 2005

Nothing going on outside this week - all concentration was on getting everything ready for screeding the whole house (1st, ground and basement floors).

This meant cleaning the groundfloor, patching some insulation, placing temporary treads on the stairs (old scaff boards),finishing off the UFH manifolds,  insulating the basement floor and getting the last large window in place down in the basement.

We're pretty much ready now and things should start on Wednesday so let's see!

In the background entrance doors are ordered as is a heat pump, some massive pipes delivered to make up the drainage from the septic tank (more on that another time) and all those final decisions about kitchens, bathrooms, fittings are getting closer and closer.......
