2 weeks to cover this time - a short week and too much happening meant I missed an update last week - sorry if you looked for it.

A vast amount of the last two weeks has been spent on the sprinkler system - firstly finishing off the runs of pipe and then fitting the heads and pressure testing and then sorting out leaks and weeping joints.

On the copper side we've had about half a dozen dodgy joints - all of the tricky ones which needed to be done in place and were right up against a wall or ceiling or some other difficult area.  The other thing has been trying to find the best technique for making the 1" threaded joint sound - this has meant a number of revisits to most heads but I think we're getting there now.  As ever when we have finished the job we'll know how to do it!

We've also been working on supporting all of the pipes, wiring, back boxes for the electrics, and placing accoustic insulation in the ceiling between the bedrooms and loft.
