I was still off when the last 10t of screed was laid but it was all done.  A total of 38t spread over 4 working days and even with a pump hard work.

With the floors down we then concentrated on getting the house ready for plastering, starting in the top of the house.

This meant plasterboard over the window reveals, expanding metal mesh around the top and bottom of each wall to seal the plastic sheet behind the plaster.  This is a method of increasing the airtightness of the house by stopping ingress at the floor junctions where beams penetrate the main block leaf of the wall.

Really just a steady week.  However when done the small bits of plasterboard make the rooms look much lighter!
