At long last (well 3rd attempt) spetic tank came and was correct - didn't quite get around to
installing it yet but at least it is on site!
On the outside this week continued in a similar vein to the last couple of weeks - drains, water pipes and generally shovelling muck. We got the rainwater runs in to
the final discharge point into a stream (approved by the EA), we've stripped back , leveled and pegged out where the soakaways for the septic tank will be and have run the water pipes nearly down to the road for final
connection. Just awaiting BT's Dial before you Dig man to come and tell us exactly whrere their wires run..... don't want to make that mistake.
Inside we've mostly been living, eating and dreaming
plasterboard. Nearly all of the ground floor is now finished - just a small section of hall to finish next week. However we also got the stringers for the stairs delivered. 4m long strips of 10mm plate
steel - great fun and very worrying but when push came to shove (and it did) it wasn't too bad and everything looks great - check the links page for the metalworkers -
