 19th to 26th June 2005

This week was one of those weeks where things really seemed to change.

We started putting up the plasterboard ceilings in the upper floor and then laying insulation on the floors ready for the under floor heating pipes.  No real dramas which is nice for a change.

We also got the diggers back in to clear the oversite of where the septic tank and drainage will be and to scrap away the ground in front of the garage - this was rising to about 600mm above the floor slab level so each time it rained water ran back into the house.  Of course this wasn't finished before the storms came so we have a rather soggy muddy patch in front of the house - a good site for a concert??
