31st January to 6th February 2005

Having got the remaining oak delivered this week was spent getting the large H frame around the main living room window in place and fitting the kitchen and dining room windows.  Writing it down is quite simple but getting an outer out frame around a window 2580x1750mm took a whole day and then fitting the actual window took another half day.

Anyway they are in and look fantastic - even better some of the scaffolding has started to come down (intentionally that is) and this has enabled us to see the house much more clearly - luckily we like it!

A day was also spent tidying up as it will be easier to get shot of rubbish through window openings rather than through the windows...

At the end of the week we went back into the loft internals which are now heading towards completion.
