27th December 2004 to 9th January 2005

Quite a large amount of time off so no major changes.

2 Upstairs windows have been fitted - both the oak outer frame and the actual window plus we did a lot of prep work on the internals of the roof, fitting box ends to enable the Warmcell to be blown in without falling straight out again!

The oak frames wern't quite as bad as I had expected although it did take a while - I am glad I am using some Compriband tape to seal both the window into the frame and the frame to the opening - at least any variations will remain airtight!

The external view of the windows is still shrouded by the scaff - and you will see a young helper saying... "But Dad why did it take so long? Look it's easy....  Ooops".
