This week the scaffolding went back up to enable us to get warmcell insulation blown in to the boxing on the walls and then render over them.

This also meant we could do a lot of the prep work needed before the rendering - more vent strips, sorting out a drip from the guttering, putting the windows into the read lobby wall, positioning lead flashing around the roofline of the rear lobby so the render can run right up and over it.

We also ran loads more cables - both alarm cables, mains rings and rings for lighting sockets in the bedrooms and living room.

As well as that we started on the pipe runs of 28mm copper for the sprinkler system and continued to put up timber for the false ceilings in the hall and garage.

I think we're ready for the next couple of weeks where insulation and rendering should be finished off.  I should really say I hope we're ready!
