The stone started going down on the ground floor and boy does it look good!
Stonecraft are doing this for us and again the quality of the work is exceptional especially considering the reasonable price.
As Jason was doing the stone we grafted away in the bathroom getting the tank in and
tested, building the cupboard around the tank and boxing around the bath ready for tiling.
And as for the frustrations this week:
Heat pump - it worked wonderfully but then the return froze up - twice - during
commissioning. The good news was that the problem was identified and a solution proposed all within 30 mins of the syptoms being noticed. As such a pain but not the stuff that Grand Designs is made of!
Water feed to the house - there are a couple of weeps on the pipe (at joints thankfully) - points identified just need to sort them out.
Fork lift wouldn't start which meant barrowing sand for the stone and lost us a
bit of time during the week.
Tiles - driving to Gloucester picking up about 70 items and finding, on return to site, I'd not picked up the last 2 .....doh!
