At long last we have both power and water into the house!  Not that I did much to assist in the process.

Whilst people were toiling to achieve these feats we carried on with electrics, plumbing and floor levelling.

Electrics were final switches - finding the lost socket in the kitchen (wires in place hiding behind the plasterboard - opps!) and testing the system out.

Plumbing was purging the heat pump coils and the UFH system - adding anitfreeze to the heat pump coils, inhibitor to both the UFH and the thermal store.  Once this was done we started on the water tank in the bathroom. Purging was fun using a chunky pump - the gumpf from the heat pump people suggested keeping a firm hold on the return pipe - I now know what they mean and why!!!!

Floor levelling was to get the upstairs floors totally smooth to stick the wooden floor to it.

We also had a day of plastering but still need another to finally finish of the last scraps.

Heat pupm due to be commissioned next week - warmth awaits!
