Again a slow week but ended up being back to normal.

This week we started on the drainage for the septic tank.  Yep it was cold and wet so why not spend loads of time outside playing in the mud?  Rather than a normal herringbone system we're using a shallow bed infiltration system that consists of a small pipe with holes in it dangling from a larger half pipe buried 400mm below surface level.  So trenches to be dug, pipe to go in....

We also trenched in ducting to run the electricity into the house... just need it connected now!

As well as that we finished off a lot of the final bits of skimming - leaving about 3m2 if hardwall and skim to finish off.

Once this was done we worked on plumbing for the heat pump, ufh and bathroom.

This week's realisation was exactly how carefully we're going to have to choose basins for the cloakrooms .... deffo one for cat lovers!
