This week felt very strange - we're actually finishing things off rather than starting new tasks!  Well having said that we did do something new - start hanging doors but that was a way of finishing a room off!

With 20 odd internal doors to do I wasn't looking forward to hanging them - however with the purchase of a hinge jig they don't seem to be too bad (touch wood!).. maybe being a cheapskate and doing them myself wasn't too bad an idea.

Paint on walls, paint on skirting - skirting being cut for upstairs and fixed downstairs, last few cupboards up in the kitchen and a few other finishing type jobs.

The major step forward was eventually getting the timber flooring for the 1st floor on site and into the house.  This needs to settle down and aclimatise for a few weeks before we lay it - UFH will cause havoc if we don't.
