Two areas of work this week.

Firstly groundworks outside - backfilling the septic tank with concrete, building a dosing chamber and then connecting all the pipes together - net result loos that work in the house!!  Also work on the steps to the front door and some elements of landscaping.

Secondly the wood floors on the first floor.  This has been a week of cutting the chestnut boards, sticking them down to the screed, sanding them off and then treating with Omso Polyx Hardwax Oil to give a matt finish.  About 105m2 in a week all down, nearly all sanded and 2/5ths finished.
